What we keep, and for how long.

If you order now and pay later

We take your name, and your number if you give one, so we can keep your order straight and send you the bill. Your number comes off that bill about three months after you pay it, and off our records altogether if you have not been in for a year. Sooner if you ask.

What you bought stays in our books, because that is our accounting and we are expected to keep it. Once we have forgotten you, those sales have nobody attached to them.

When you pay

We keep how you paid, the amount, the time and the payment's reference against your order, because that is how we know it is paid. We never see your M-Pesa PIN or your card number.

If you pay with or add TabFlow credit

TabFlow is a separate service that holds your balance. When you pay with it, or add credit at the counter, we pass TabFlow your number and the amount so it can check you have an account and record the payment. Your own page here shows your TabFlow balance, read by your number. What TabFlow keeps about you is covered by TabFlow's own privacy policy.

When your order is ready

We may send your bill or a ready message to your number on WhatsApp.

If you ask us for a quote

We use your name, email and number to send you the quote or the invoice and to follow it up, and for nothing else.

What we do not do

We do not build a profile of what you eat in order to sell you things, and the counter screen does not show your history. Your number goes only to the services that do the job you asked for, named above, and never to anyone selling you something. Our analytics do not track you across the web or use cookies to identify you.
